The Company takes the security and privacy of your data seriously. We are required to gather and use information or ‘data’ about our clients and candidates as part of our business and to manage our relationship with our clients and candidates. Personal Data Collection
Personal data might be provided to Blank Space Recruitment by the clients, candidates or someone else or it could be created by Blank Space Recruitment.
We collect and use the following types of data about our clients and candidates:
- Contact details, including names, email addresses, home addresses, telephone numbers, company information and compliance documentation
- Recruitment information such CV’s, cover letters and application forms
- Images
- Links to your professional profiles that are available in the public domain for example LinkedIn
- We may also process information collected from other sources including job boards, corporate websites, your business card or referrals.
Data Processing
Blank Space Recruitment will process the personal data (including any special categories of personal data) in accordance with our legal obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018. All data will be held securely on our cloud based CRM system.
Blank Space Recruitment is a specialist recruitment agency that uses data for the legitimate interest of introducing candidates for permanent or contract positions. We typically use the data for:
- Recruitment purposes
- Complying with any legal obligations
- If it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or for the legitimate interests of someone else).
However, we can only do this if your interests and rights do not override ours (or theirs). You have the right to challenge our legitimate interests and request that we stop this processing. Data Sharing
At some point through processing data, Blank Space Recruitment will share the personal data between companies and data subjects to carry out the obligations of any agreements and contracts for the recruitment process. Blank Space Recruitment trusts those companies and subjects will keep the personal data shared confidential and secure and to protect it in accordance with their own Data Protection Policies and the Law. We trust that they will only process any data shared for the lawful purpose for which it has been shared and in accordance with Blank Space Recruitment’s instructions.
Data Breaches
Blank Space Recruitment has systems in place to avoid and minimise data breaches from taking place. Should a breach be identified (in respect of a particular individual or someone else) the breach must be noted, and evidence of the breach kept. If it is identified as a breach where the rights and freedoms of individuals are likely to be affected, the breach must be reported to the ICO within 72 hours. - To have any processed data erased that is no longer required
- To object to their data being processed
